Born 1976 in Berlin, Alex has been actively involved with everything internet from 1995 on. Founding a webdesign company in 1999, he has been involved in a number of startups.
He is the author of “Chatbots in der Kundenkommunikation“, co-author of “Web 2.0 - Neue Perspektiven für Marketing und Medien“ and “Ökonomie der Buchindustrie“, and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Prior to launching quillp he was responsible for the internet activities of Bertelsmann’s Canadian book clubs in Toronto and worked for Bertelsmann on several consulting assignments in England, China, and Germany.

Building his first computer at the age of ten, programming a bus route planning software at the age of thirteen, and teaching computer classes to his fellow high school students at the age of sixteen, Rolf has been involved with the internet from its very start, being constantly online since 1992.
During his studies of business administration and information management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and information technology at the University of Applied Sciences, Liechtenstein, he founded his web design agency Agentur kunst://wort in 1995. In this position he has successfully planned, developed and deployed various cutting edge technology solutions for national and international companies
